Description

This art work pays serious detailed attention to its elements of form, colour, line, tone, and texture.

This painting is large enough to fill up a significant space in the room and also to fill the room with so much warmth.

This Abstract art is a departure from reality. It released the creative energy of the painter and provided him with the freedom to explore his minds and emotions with impressionism and fluidity of colours that was impossible in traditional styles of art.

This makes the painting more thrilling and exciting.

Although abstract, we can vaguely see a portrayal of a woman with a nose ring on. This artwork is truly one you can get lost in.

Give the gift of art to yourself or to a friend. There is nothing like a piece of art to warm your home with creative energy.

Sato Drummer

Art & Collectibles
$665.00 $532.00
Sato drummer music links us with our beginning, life, God. Therefore, it is sacred. It is an unmistakably sign of deep spiritual fall when music rendering becomes sensually inclined. Sato drums have the potency of driving away evil spirits, wherever they are beaten. The Sato drum is used and beaten in Akarakunmo during celebratory periods, particularly at burials of very old and renowned individuals. The drums are approximately three metres tall and beaten with seven long drumsticks. Those who play the drums must jump simultaneously at the rhythm of the drum, wear traditional attire and perform acrobatic displays. Those who play drums must be orphans. An orphan who has lost one parent can only use one hand to play the drum and an orphan who has lost both parents can use two hands. If both parents are still alive, you cannot play any of the drums. The drums are hollow and must be covered. The main dancers and drummers of the Sato drums in Nigeria are the children of Kodjo, Avidagba and Tosavi. These are the people who originate from the areas of Agbokomeh, Lokossa and Dadapame (now called Wheaga). Perfect for an outdoor piece.

Gazing On Her Future

Art & Collectibles
$1,000.00 $800.00
Capture the essence of childhood on your walls. The feeling of wanting to get older that gripped you with excitement and trepidation. As she waited in a distant gaze, her eyes melted like ice awaiting their return, her face is distraught, wild eyed, elderly, introspective. The image gives us a black child with a rich lime-painted nose and eye lids. There is both beauty and toxicity to her They are created in colors that evoke clown paint, the exciting use of line and color has the kind of kinetic energy the viewer can practically absorb; it’s tactile and almost seems to vibrate off the walls. Perfect in a lounge or waiting area!
