Isaiah Kehinde Dairo known as IK Dairo composed the song Salome.
His songs covered a range of topics. Salome is a love song in praise of a young woman with eyes like traps and teeth as white as cowries
He is considered by many as the ‘Father of Juju’ and has been referred to as the Shakespeare of Music
In 1963 Queen Elizabeth awarded him the MBE (Member of the British Empire) for his contributions to the culture of the Commonwealth.
