This artwork illustrates a charming female basket weaver in all her glory going about her daily work making strong, durable, colorful and hand-made baskets.

This artwork has been delicately drawn to portray the fragile and exquisite position a basket weaver is in order to ensure her basket comes out nice.

Each of her baskets is as beautiful and unique as she is.

Baskets with leather handles are wrapped in goat skin for comfort and durability. The leather is naturally tanned using local seeds and red millet.

The artist presents this expressionist piece in celebration of the hardworking nature of African villagers.
